Recently, the second Committee Meeting of China-Brazil Cooperation Fund for the Expansion of Production Capacity for Sustainable Development (the "Fund") was held in Beijing. The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Administrator of State Administration of Foreign Exchange Li Hongyan and Vice Minister of Minister of Finance of Brazil Tatiana Rosito.

The meeting reviewed the Fund’s progress since the first Committee Meeting held in September, 2024, and a series of projects in the sectors of climate, renewable energy and infrastructure have been integrated as the Fund’s second deliverables, encompassing multiple investment vehicles such as equity, debt, fund, etc. Both sides agreed to hold the next Committee Meeting in Brazil in 2026.
