On October 19, 2023, Mr. Pan Gongsheng, PBOC Governor and SAFE Administrator, met with Paul Chan Mo-po, Financial Secretary of the HKSAR and Eddie Yue, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). They had exchanges over issues of common concern. After that, they witnessed the signing of a cooperation framework agreement on forming a Belt and Road investment platform by Silk Road Fund and the HKMA.
