On October 13, 2023, Pan Gongsheng, PBOC Governor and SAFE Administrator, met with Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva during the IMF/World Bank Group Annual Meetings in Marrakech, Morocco. They exchanged views on the Chinese and international economic and financial landscape, the cooperation between China and the IMF and other issues of mutual interest.
